Such a sweet photo. I think Sofia and Kirsten were deeply moved by the long standing ovation that occured when the film finished.

Pedro Almodovar is a true artist ,I love him ,and I think he was just looking how much affection Kirsten and Sofia have for each other.

I had heard, that he really liked the film. He actually got very angry, when he had heard that some of the press had booed. He told a newspaper in spain, that it was wrong for them to boo, and that if they are going to boo, they should stick to reviewing bad movies. He also said that Sofia is one of his good friends, and that he loves her work. He said that she had told him, that she looked up to him, and that made his day. He was happy for them. :-D

I really don't understand why the movie was booed in Cannes. I saw it and enjoyed it as much as Sofia's first two films. I saw how disappointed she was when a journalist told her about the booes :-( . But then Kiki said 'Well, I liked the movie though, and I'm really proud!'. Yeah!! Anyway, I've also seen that Mops (Kiki's dog in the movie) won the "palme dog"!

^It was booed by only like 10 people who didn't see it. The french are very protective of MA and they also aren't fond of her...just like 9/11 to Americans. It's ours and we hate it. Just wait till that 9/11 movie come out, it'll cause a shitstorm.

I know French people who enjoyed it. The movie is actually v realistic. Those Cannes people are sooo (too) posh!

Critics are very good here in France... just some few people didn't like it... the BIG majority and me really really ENJOYED it!!!

Is Kiki single? Or did she go to Cannes without her boyfriend ? :-?
vendettav   [May 29, 2006 at 08:05 PM]
^as far as we know she doesn't have a boyfriend
Dominique Demarets   [May 30, 2006 at 04:43 AM]
She has a boyfriend, but she doesn't know it yet.

moi en tt cas j'ai bcp aimé le film!! j'vais acheter le DVD qd il sortira (le 7 mars j'ai noté! ^^)
Dominique Demarets   [Feb 21, 2007 at 02:32 PM]
