The acctress looks beautiful. One thing must be pointed out: The hair style is completely out of the period except in height; Marie Antoinette's wigs were much different!!!! From this point of view, the 1938 movie with Norma Shearer had very good eighteen-century wigs.
About the historically incorrect hairstyle...Sophia Coppola has made a 'Stylized' Marie Antoinette movie. So the costumes and hair will probably have a more moderny-stylized touch to them with a lot more
I wish that she were making the more outlandishly high styles that were featured in the cartoons about her! Since Hollywood should be so much fun, what better story than this one to be outlandish as all get out!
Everybody thinks M. Antoinette was French but she was Austrian by birth, she had a tragic ending. I once read an article about beheaded people and they could see their bodies and respond to voices they heard with their mimics even minutes after. Very tragic end. Keep your gorgeous head over your swan like neck Kiki.
