okay i finally found out who the two women on each of kiki's side are. the one of the left is Mary Nighy(her father is Bill Nighy of Love Actually) and she plays the Princesse of Lambelle...Antoinette's most closest friend. On the right side is Judi Davis, who plays the Comtesse De'Noilles...I dont really know what effect she had on Marie Antoinette's life...but o'well she must have been someone good.
The Comtesse de Noailles was the chief lady-in-waiting entrusted to act as Marie-Antoinette's guardian when she arrived in France. Marie-Antoinette didn't particularly like her, because she found her overbearing and dictatorial. She nicknamed her 'Madame Etiquette.'
Aw! I wish I would've registered before all of the confusion. I know more about Marie Antoinette than is healthy. A great book is Abundance, by Sena Jeter Nasland, it covers all of it. (PG-13 though, definately)
